DEA to NPI Crosswalk
We have built a cross reference between the DEA and NPI numbers which matches about 90% of all prescriber DEA numbers to their respective NPI numbers.The full spectrum of Type 1 prescribers are included - medical doctors, doctors of osteopathic medicine, naturopaths, chiropractors, dentists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, optometrists, podiatrists and others authorized to prescribe medication.
Cross reference data files can be as little as 2 columns [DEA and NPI], or they can include whatever assortment of available columns from our database that you need.

Subscriptions for data can be either quarterly or monthly. Data is provided through a secure FTP download or via mailed on a CD.
The data format is flexible, and can be XML, delimited text with your choice of delimiter, or even via spreadsheet in some cases.
Batch Processing
Batch processing is often more cost effective for small to medium sized projects. Turnaround time for batch processing can be as little as one business day depending on the size and scope of the project. Send us your list of DEA numbers, and we will append the NPI numbers you need.
